Will Hedrick
Attorney, Managing Partner, & Owner
Will is an avid automotive enthusiast born and raised in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He is most well known for his pro bono representation of 40+ owners of imported Land Rover Defenders in the case of United States v. Land Rover Vehicles, et. al. (Case No. 5:14-CV-00034-F, United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina). Will is also known for his pro bono representation of Chief Warrant Officer Charles Overby, United States Army, and his Land Rover Defender in the case of CW4 Charles William Overby, Jr. v. United States (Case No. 1:16-CV-00178, United States Court of International Trade). As a result of his legal defense work, members of the public and the media conferred upon Will the title, Defender of Defenders ®.
After graduating college and before going to law school, Will spent 5-years working with the Land Rover Carolinas Group, an authorized Land Rover retailer chain, whereupon he received training from Land Rover North America and it's Land Rover University in Lanham, Maryland. During that time, he achieved Gold level certification as a Land Rover Sales Guide. Will was a senior member of the staff at Land Rover Hilton Head when it earned and received the Pinnacle Award from Land Rover North America in 2004. He also won several competitions and awards during his time at Land Rover and he competed in Land Rover TReK Colorado 2003, with he and his teammates placing 2nd in their semi-finals. In November of that same year, Will had the distinction of being the Land Rover Sales Guide to sell the very last new North American Specification (NAS) Land Rover Defender 90 in the United States; a 1997 Willow Green Limited Edition Defender 90, #300/300, which the dealer principal had retained and stored away from the time it was originally delivered to the dealership as new.
Will now frequently travels abroad on legal work matters and is regularly in the United Kingdom and Europe. He has an established working relationship with the current government contractor responsible for the international shipping of privately owned vehicles (POV's) belonging to military service members and civilian employees with United States Department of Defense (DOD). He also serves as legal counsel and consultant to numerous automotive restoration specialists as well as new vehicle manufacturers.
Will has been lovingly married to his wife, Jessica, since 2002 and they have three beautiful children.
